KIDOGO CHILDREN'S ART PROGRAM 2008

Kidogo Kids Art Program concentrates on teaching Fine Art subjects such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media. Our courses are most suited to children who would like to develop their art and creative thinking skills.

Kidogo Art School offers Children's Holiday, After-School and Weekend Art Classes.

Q: What do we provide and what will the kids do in a Kidogo
Kids Art class? All the different art materials for all projects
are included in the cost of a lesson. The kids will work with a
professional artist who will teach and help the children to do
projects that a “real” artist might do - such as: drawing from
observation or imagination, exploring techniques using
different art materials (watercolours, acrylics, oil pastels,
charcoal, printmaking, collage, and/or clay or wire sculpture.
Students need to bring: Their own refreshments, an apron,
or just wear old clothes.

Q: What ages do we cater for? Children start our classes
as young as 5 and often stay with us until they are 12.
After this they can join the art courses that are designed
for adults. Parents, Grandparents, other family members
are allowed to be any age!

Q: Zoo entry is included in art class fees? No. Zoo-membership is arranged through through Perth Zoo (9474 0350), Child Annual Zoo Membership is great value at $39 (or $31 per child if joining as a family)

Refreshments: Each child should bring their own snacks and refreshments
All art materials are supplied (except stretched canvases)
