Tom has travelled widely and his interest in the cultures of the world is reflected in his work. He was born in South Africa and lived in Chile and Peru before migrating to Australia in 1996.

After recent travels to South Africa and Tanzania Tom brings out the colours of African life in a swirl of Impressionistic paintings and sketches.
